How long does carpet take to dry after cleaning?
With truck-mounted extraction, most carpets are dry to walk on within a few hours and fully dry within around 24 hours, depending on pile depth, humidity and airflow. Opening windows and running fans speeds it up considerably.
Do I have to get my carpets professionally cleaned when I move out in Queensland?
It depends on your lease. A general clause requiring professional carpet cleaning at the end of every tenancy is generally not enforceable in Queensland, but a special condition attached to keeping a pet often is. Regardless, you must return the property in the condition you received it, less fair wear and tear — so if the carpets were professionally cleaned at the start, a professional clean at the end is the safest course. Often, yes — though it depends on what caused the stain, how long it has been there, and whether anything has already been applied to it. Home stain removers can permanently set some stains, so it is worth calling before you experiment. We will tell you honestly what we expect to achieve before we start.
